Our center provides and promotes a stimulating, social environment responsive to the needs of our clients. We provided a safe environment for clients and allow caregivers to work or receive respite during the day. JAC is open 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. – Monday through Friday. All person-centered services are under the direction of an amazing group of medical staff; which includes a RN, a LPN,and several SRNAs. The center offers socialization, activities, nutritional meals and snacks, and medical services, when directed by your physician. We strive to engage our clients into the community and bring the community into our center to enrich our program.

Born and raised in Bourbon County/Paris, Bourbon Heights Inc. has always been a part of my life. At the age of eight, my youth group performed puppet shows for residents and staff. My grandmother, along with many other loved ones have and remain residents at BHI. After twenty years at IBM, God’s direction for my life took a different turn and I became a Nurse. His plan and purpose led me straight to BHI, where I have been blessed to call home for the last 15 years. In my free time, I enjoy time with my family and friends, Christian Contemporary music, swimming and beach time, and reading.

For the last nine years, I have had the privilege and honor to be a part of such an amazing group of special people that we call family at the JAC, where I serve as the Program Director, Nurse, Activity Director, Community Support Leader and all the extras. My motto since day one, ‘We have more ABILITIES than disabilities. All made by the same Creator’. Our group has so much love to give and I want our community to meet and grow with us. So grateful for the community support from businesses, homemaker and church groups, along with individuals. We are blessed and welcome the support of others to make our center a place to learn and grow individual and as a group.
